In this message on the first Sunday in the season of Lent, Rev Leo invites us to consider the temptations we face and the challenges of living in a world that is all about the self. We look at the first temptation of man in Genesis, and Paul’s Letter to the Romans comparing Adam with Jesus, and, of course, reflecting on the temptation that Jesus faced in the wilderness as it is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew.
We discuss the reason we give back to God, focusing primarily on the giving of our money.
