Ministries

Mudgeeraba Uniting Church has a variety of activities for the local community.

Family Ministry

Mudgeeraba Uniting has a real heart for families and seeks to provide various activities that are ‘families specific’. As well as providing for the needs of families in weekly worship with age-appropriate content, we offer a five-mornings-a-week playgroup and a fortnightly ‘family church’. Affordable and fun school holiday programs are also planned. We take child safety seriously and all those involved in ministry with children have a Qld Government Working with Children Check (Blue card) and undertake regular training. We…

Playgroup

Come and join us! Our playgroup has been supporting families in Mudgeeraba and surrounds for over 25 years. We’re still going strong, and we’d love you to join us! Mudgeeraba Playgroup provides a safe, fun and non-structured environment where babies to pre-schoolers can play, learn and grow. Our playgroup also offers their parents and care-givers a chance to share experiences, find encouragement, and make friends. Each parent/caregiver is asked to bring morning tea for his or her own child. We…

All levels of competency, from beginners to experts, are welcome! We work on our projects, share our existing skills and learn new ones, but most of all we’re a group who care for one another. The cost is just $3 per week, and morning tea is provided. Bring your…

Whether you are a long-standing Christian, someone returning to your faith, or you just have questions about Christianity, Small Groups are an ideal place to learn about Jesus, grown in your faith, and make friends. Sunday Arvo Sewing

Our monthly ‘Sunday Arvo Sewing’ group is the brain-child of some playgroup mums who wanted to learn to sew, knit, crochet and quilt, but had no time during the week. All are welcome, and especially beginners. We have machines you can borrow, or bring your own. We meet in the church building on the second* Sunday of the month, starting at 3.00 pm and finishing around 5.00 pm. We find time for a coffee break, of course! Check the Op-shop…
