What is Fair Trade? Fair trade is a worldwide movement that aims to help farmers and producers in less economically developed countries (LEDCs). The term fair trade means that they receive a fair price for the goods that they produce. Goods that are produced and sold in support of these aims usually carry a fair-trade label.
Mudgeeraba Uniting Church is a Fair Trade community. We support the Fair Trade movement and endeavour to use Fair Trade products as much as possible.
The Fair Trade market is a gathering of Fair Traders with a range of Fair Trade Goods available for purchase. Purchasing these products supports the Fair Trade movement. There are also resources available to help those who wish to become involved in the Fair Trade movement.
This year’s market will be held on August 30th 2025, in the “backyard” of the Mudgeeraba Uniting Church, 89 Franklin Drive, Mudgeeraba, running from 9am to 1pm.
