2021 at mudgeeraba Uniting church

Welcome to Mudgeeraba Uniting Church Blog. 2021 is well underway – along with the rest of Australia ( and the world) we are looking forward to the availability of the Vaccine for COVID 19 and an understanding of the new normal that this may bring.

There is no doubt that the COVID 19 has seen many changes in our lives during 2020 and that many of these changes will continue into 2021.

Our church has returned to Services in person -with the added option of now also being available on line – enabling any wishing to take part in a service to access this in their own homes at a time of their choosing. Mudgeeraba Uniting Church – YouTube

The OpShop at Mudgeeraba Uniting has been open since early January – there has been a slight change in operating hours and Thursdays are closed to the public. we have been blessed by our donors who continue to support us and enable us to provide support to many local, regional and National organisations.

Of course the situation with COVID-19 means that we have needed to introduce a number of COVID safe measures – and maintain an active watch on the changing situation as instances of community transmission require changes to how our situation. The need to be flexible and act quickly as the situation in South East Queensland and the Gold Coast changes. We appreciate the way our community has responded to the changes we all face and assist us all in keeping all of us as safe as we are able.

There is hope to be found – Jesus is our sure hope and strength, an anchor in the storm, the rock holding us steadfast and firm. No matter what, no matter where, we are assured of his eternal presence. Let us put our faith in him and shine our light into the present darkness
