It is about those who are blind to the truth; those who are in spiritual darkness. In today’s message which takes the form of a monologue we hear from Nicodemus, the Pharisee who seeks to learn from Jesus. His encounter with Jesus is found in John 3: 1-21.

We look at the first temptation of man in Genesis, and Paul’s Letter to the Romans comparing Adam with Jesus, and, of course, reflecting on the temptation that Jesus faced in the wilderness as it is recorded in the Gospel of Matthew.
